This special gathering features a prix fixe menu created and curated by Chef Kevin Huelsmann of KIN, inspired by the River Street Center Cookbook, a compilation of former River Street resident recipes and culinary customs.
Originally compiled in the early 1970s as a fundraising effort by the River Street Neighborhood Center by Mrs. Dorothy Buckner, the River Street Center Cookbook offers a flavorful glimpse into the spirit and character of this historic neighborhood. Join Golden Eagle Audubon for a relaxed morning of exploration of the trails at Barber Park, where the Boise River winds through groves of cottonwoods, willows, and riparian wetlands. Barber Park is a county park on the east edge of Boise, and is home to over 120 bird species throughout the year. The river is prime habitat for waterfowl, kingfisher, and herons, while the surrounding trees along the banks may hold woodpeckers, warblers, kingfishers, chickadees, flycatchers, sparrows, and owls. This will be a leisurely outing with plenty of time to stop, listen, and watch. Expect level walking on paved or packed paths, with opportunities to enjoy both birds and the beautiful riverside scenery that makes Barber Park a local favorite.

Accessibility: This event is appropriate for those with visual impairment and/or limited mobility that are comfortable with traveling on un-paved trails, and is wheelchair accessible. The trails were rebuilt in 2023 with graded and ADA accessible pathways.
Birding Skill Level: All levels are welcome. Binoculars will be available to borrow if needed.
Age: Participants younger than 12 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian and participants younger than 18 must have a parent/guardian sign the liability release.
Time: 9:00am – 11:00am. Check-in is at 8:50am. Please arrive at check-in so we can start on time.
: We will meet at Barber Park in the main parking lot near the restrooms. (Click on “Meeting Place” to get directions from your location.)
What to Bring: Layers for weather, sun protection, binoculars, closed-to shoes, water, and snacks as needed. No
dogs please.
Restroom Availability: Restrooms are available at the parking lot.
Inclement Weather: If there is an unhealthy AQI, steady precipitation forecast, or the trails are not suitable for ethical passage, the trip may be cancelled.

Next, we’ll guide you through the winemaking process, showing you how we transform our grapes into world-class sparkling wines. Our tasting room is located at our estate vineyard and winery, just minutes from downtown Eagle, Idaho, in the heart of the Eagle Foothills American Viticulture Area.
